What we do

Selling Ads for the Program

Coordinating and selling advertisements for inclusion in the annual Souvenir Program. These ads fund both the program’s production and the broader scholarship mission of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

Soliticing Donations

Encouraging individuals and businesses to make direct financial contributions in support of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s mission. Donations help expand our impact beyond ad sales, providing additional resources for scholarships, youth programs, and agricultural education.

Program Sales

Organizing and executing the sale of Souvenir Programs during Rodeo events. This includes scheduling volunteers, assisting FFA and 4-H students, and driving sales to further support HLSR’s charitable mission.

Why are we the best committee?

There are a lot of committees involved in making the Show happen, but we feel the Souvenir Program Committee is the best because…

WE DON’T WORK DURING RODEO!

*Exception to working during Rodeo are those individuals on the Distribution subcommittee, which is a very rewarding experience that is only available to Veterans on the committee.
